There are clearly many influences on an individual‘s behavior. One method which has been suggested as a primary influence on behavior patterns is advertising. With flashy ads and funny jingles, advertising can sometimes convince us to purchase something, yet does advertising have such a large effect on the human psyche that it is actually making individuals ill? Furthermore, are there types of advertising that are more effective at persuading people to consume a certain product? Also, to what extent does branding play in this matrix?
