He was born in 1965 in izmir. He graduated from Kuleli Military High School in 1983 and Hacettepe University, English Linguistics Department in 1987. He worked as a first Lieutenant at Balıkesir N.C.O Technical School and resigned from the army in 1991.He wrote and directed a play called An English Class which was a comedy. The play was on stage many times. Another book of his, Aural Studies for Laboratory was published in 1990. At the moment he is studying about a book Language Games. He has been teaching in Ankara University TÖMER since 1991 and he has been the directör of A. Ü. TÖMER Bursa Branch since September 1992.
